Highway Roll Recipe Ingredients:

  • Flour 250 gm
  • Yeast 15 gm
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • Egg 1
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required
  • Butter as required
  • Dry flour as required
  • Ingredients for Stuffing
  • Chicken breast 2
  • Yogurt 3 tbsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Tomato (sliced) 2
  • Onion chopped 1
  • Ice berg half
  • Mayonnaise ½ cup
  • Tomato ketchup 3 tbsp
  • Butter paper as required
  • Water ½ cup

Highway Roll Recipe Method:

  1. In a bowl mix together 250 gm flour, 15 gm yeast, 1 tbsp butter, 1 egg, 1 tbsp sugar, salt to taste and water as required. Knead to medium dough and remove in a bowl.
  2. Cover with a plastic foil. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  3. Now form it into balls, roll each ball and shallow fry in a frying pan with a little butter.
  4. Method for Stuffing
  5. Sauté chicken breast with a little oil. Add in 3 tbsp yogurt, 1 tsp crushed red pepper, ½ tsp turmeric, 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves and salt to taste. Mix well, add a little water and cover.
  6. Cook for 6 – 9 minutes. Then remove from fire and keep aside.
  7. Now put chicken on each paratha, put onion rings, tomato slices, chopped ice berg, a little mayonnaise and a little tomato ketchup.
  8. Fold and wrap in a butter paper. serve with any dip.
