Chicken Boti With Fresh Herbs Recipe Ingredients:

  • Chicken breast½ kg
  • Ginger garlic paste1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves½ bunch
  • Green chilies chopped3 – 4
  • Fresh red chilies2 – 3
  • White pepper powder½ tsp
  • Black pepper powder½ tsp
  • Thick yogurt125 gm
  • Desiccated coconut1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice2 tbsp
  • Oil2 – 3 tbsp
  • Saltto taste
  • Wooden skewersas required
  • Fresh cream2 tbsp
  • Mint leaves¼ bunch


Chicken Boti With Fresh Herbs Recipe Method:

  1. Cut ½ kg chicken into bite size pieces. Keep aside.
  2. Grind together ½ bunch of coriander leaves, 3 – 4 green chilies and ¼ bunch of mint leaves.
  3. Then add 1 tbsp desiccated coconut, 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, ½ tsp black pepper, ½ tsp white pepper, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 125 gm yogurt and 2 tbsp fresh cream. Mix well and marinate chicken pieces with the mixture.
  4. Thread 4 – 5 chicken pieces in each wooden skewer. Cook in a grill pan with a little oil till tender.
  5. When its color is golden, remove from pan, put in a serving platter, garnish with onion rings and mint leave.
