Chicken Ginger In Vietnamese Style Recipe Ingredients:

  • Chicken drumsticks 3
  • Oil  3 tbsp
  • Chopped ginger 1 medium sized piece
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Chopped red chili  2
  • Dry lemon grass  1 tsp
  • Water  1 cup
  • Salt  as required
  • Lemon juice  1 tbsp
  • Fried peanuts  50 grams
  • Spring  onion  2
  • Orange rind 1 tsp
  • Yogurt  125 grams
  • Green chilies  2
  • Curry leaves 1 stick
  • Chopped tomatoes  1
  • Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp


Chicken Ginger In Vietnamese Style Recipe Method:

  • Remove the meat from the drumsticks and keep aside Heat oil in a wok, add chopped ginger and chicken and cook till the chicken turns  golden in color.
  • Add chopped onion, chopped green chilies, chopped red chilies, lemon grass and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add 1 cup of water, salt, lemon juice and cover the pan and simmer
  • After 10 to 15 minutes when the chicken tenders add chopped spring  onions, Worcestershire sauce, beaten yogurt, fried peanuts and mix well.
